Nature Shoot and New Camera!

Photo Shoot: August 30, 2018

I purchased a new camera! Right as I got home, I did a new photo shoot. The last camera I had was a Sony DSC W810. I was planning on purchasing the Sony DSC W830, which was the first camera I had. The W810 was my second. The store I went to did not have the W830, so I ended up getting the Cannon Powershot ELPH80. I am so happy with it! I think it takes better pictures than the W810.

Last week, my sister and I purchased three new doll outfits from Our Generation. I mixed and matched two of those outfits to make the outfit Rachael is wearing now. I was so excited to buy these outfits because they were on sale. I also did not have any good doll shorts, and I also did not have any doll sandals, bags, or denim shirts. The shorts she is wearing are green and grey striped with a bow on the top of them. The light blue denim shirt she is wearing has some ties on the bottom of the shirt, so I tied the shirt and the shorts together. The sandals she is wearing are these really pretty silver and tan sandals. Finally, the bag she has is a light blue color, and it has different types of cacti on it.

Like my last post, this photo shoot has a few different locations. The first location is on the edge of the woods in my backyard. I found this small log next to a magnolia tree, and I thought it would make the perfect location for a photo shoot. Here are the first three pictures I took.

I love how these first three pictures turned out, because they are all taken in the same location, all from different angles. The next two photos are taken in the same location as the last three. I took them next to the small bush you see in the background of the last picture.

I am happy with how these turned out, and just like the last location, Rachael is in the same pose in these two pictures, but I took them from different angles.

The next three pictures are taken to the left of the last pictures. I like how Rachael is standing, and she was able to keep her balance and stand for a while!

The last two pictures I took were right on the edge of the woods in the background of the last picture. I like how they turned out, but I find that taking pictures in the woods is so hard! I attempted taking one with my old camera in the woods, but it didn't turn out that well. I might try another one soon with my new kayak and see how that turns out.

I am so impressed with my new camera, and I love how the pictures turned out! Which one is your favorite?
