November 16th & 17th

11/16/2018, 11/17/2018 It has been so cloudy this past week, I wasn't planning on doing a photo shoot soon. But when I woke up on Friday morning, it was a completely blue sky! So I rushed out at 11:30 a.m. to do a photo shoot. I was only able to take four pictures then before my camera battery died, so I went back the next day, which still had a blue sky, and took more pictures. I was playing around with the locations and angles and I was finally ready to go. I was walking to my bike (this location was not in my yard) when I passed the location of the picture above. I am so glad I took pictures there because that was the only location that turned out with good pictures! :-) Also, this is a new outfit my sister bought a few days ago from Our Generation. Here are the pictures from Friday morning. \ And here are the pictures from Saturday evening. Happy Thanksgiving! ~AG...

Fall Leaves

Photo Shoot: November 14, 2018 Hello! I did another photo shoot this morning! I did one yesterday, but it was really cloudy. The pictures didn't turn out very good, and they were dark and grainy. So, this morning I was in my room and I realized the sun was out! I took full advantage of the situation and re-did the photo shoot that failed.  I think it turned out pretty good! So I wanted to capture the Fall leaves before they fell off of the trees completely. I missed their peak because it was rainy and I was sick, but I still think they looks pretty good now. I took the pictures in four different locations. I only got one good picture at the first location. It is not my favorite, but I still think it looks okay. It was on a steeper hill, so it was hard to take pictures there. For the next pictures, I actually sat Rachel up on a tree branch and took pictures of her there. I am really happy with how these pictures turned out. I took the next couple of pictures on top of th...

Pumpkins!

Photo shoot: October 22. 2018 Sorry for not posting in a while. I took these pictures mid-October, but as usual didn't make a post until now. I took pictures for my next photo shoot today and will have them posted soon. I took all of the pictures today on my front porch. We had bought our pumpkins and planted the mums and pansies about a week or two before the pictures were taken. Ever since we set them up, I was thinking, "This will make a great photo shoot.....". Anyway, I did one. Here are the pictures I took: I am really happy with how the pictures turned out! My favorite picture is probably the last one. I don't know why I like it so much, especially since Rachel's face isn't in it. My favorite one with Rachel's face however is the first one. It is amazing how different everything changes between October and November (you will definitely see it in my next post) Happy Fall! AGDPS

Fall Shoot

Photo Shoot: October 8th, 2018 Fall is upon us! The lighting was really good today, so I decided to do a Fall-themed photo shoot! I took all of the pictures today in one location. I used my front door as the background and took a couple of small pumpkins in front of the door. Rachael's outfit today consists of three different brands of doll clothes. I have had the shirt ever since I was 4-5, and I think my grandparents gave it to me with a bunch of other clothes. I never liked the shirt when I was younger, but I really like it now! The fur vest and the purse are both from Our Generation, and the black leggings are from Michael's. My best friend gave me this American Girl doll hair styling DVD, and I got today's hairstyle out of there. So, that is where her outfit and hairstyle came from! I took some pictures of Rachael sitting and standing. After I took some pictures, I found a pine cone on the ground and thought it might be a nice touch. Here are the pictures! ...

Woods Clearing Shoot

Photo shoot: August 31st, 2018 Sorry for the delay! I have had these photos, but never got around to editing them. All of the photos I took on this shoot were taken in the same location. The sunlight was really nice, so I went down to the woods in my backyard and took some photos in a small clearing. I posed Rachael in the first two photos against a tree. I like how they turned out. I think the angle of sunlight could of been better, but I am really happy with them overall. I took the next two pictures behind the tree Rachael is standing by in the last two pictures. I love how green the background is, and the canopy looked so pretty. The first photo is probably one of my favorites from the whole shoot. Those are the pictures from the shoot that I have edited so far. I have some more pictures, so I might edit those and add them to this post soon. I hope you enjoyed this post! Another post will be coming soon. I am thinking something Fall themed..... ~AGDP...

Nature Shoot and New Camera!

Photo Shoot: August 30, 2018 I purchased a new camera! Right as I got home, I did a new photo shoot. The last camera I had was a Sony DSC W810. I was planning on purchasing the Sony DSC W830, which was the first camera I had. The W810 was my second. The store I went to did not have the W830, so I ended up getting the Cannon Powershot ELPH80. I am so happy with it! I think it takes better pictures than the W810. Last week, my sister and I purchased three new doll outfits from Our Generation. I mixed and matched two of those outfits to make the outfit Rachael is wearing now. I was so excited to buy these outfits because they were on sale. I also did not have any good doll shorts, and I also did not have any doll sandals, bags, or denim shirts. The shorts she is wearing are green and grey striped with a bow on the top of them. The light blue denim shirt she is wearing has some ties on the bottom of the shirt, so I tied the shirt and the shorts together. The sandals she is wearin...

Cloudy Photo Shoot

Photo shoot: August, 2018 I took this photo shoot in three different locations. The first one has sort of a nature back round, so lets take a look at that one! For this first photo, I placed Rachael against a large pine tree, and then I placed the camera on the ground and pointed it up towards Rachael. I am pleased with how this photo turned out. I think there might be too many shadows in the picture, but I am still playing around and learning how to edit pictures, so I'll figure out how to reduce shadows at some point. :-) The next picture I took was from above Rachael. I sat Rachael down against a hay bale we had next to a Crape Myrtle tree we had. I placed a doll book I had on her lap to make it look like she was reading her book and stopped and looked up. I really like this picture. I also really like how the flowers in the corner turned out.  I would rate this photo a 7/10. I only took one picture at our next location. I brought Rachael and stood her ...
